Eleanor Ettinger Gallery
I love the figurative artists who exhibit at this gallery. I went into this gallery about five years ago with a bunch of buddies and talked with the owner about the Calibey works he had up at the time. He put me on the press release list, and I have received exhibition catalogues in the mail ever since.
Ottawa Art Association
I joined this club in the fall of 2006. Membership is cheap, and the guest artists are insightful (though I am not too concerned about learning the finer points of pastel or watercolour). I am hoping that a few of the members are interested in doing some plein air painting with me.
